Blue Mountains Leadership College
Blue Mountains Leadership College exists to raise up leaders and equip people to serve God and His Church so they can impact our community and generation with the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Blue Mountains Leadership College offers a Certificate IV in Ministry accreditation for students who complete 8 subjects over 3 years. If you want to know more about God and the Bible then Blue Mountains Leadership College is for you. Blue Mountains Leadership College meets every Thursday evening from 7.20pm to 9.30pm for 15 weeks in each semester.
Internship Program
Our brand new Internship Program for 2008 not only offers a whole new level of training with a Certificate IV in Ministry accreditation, but also presents an opportunity to serve in a wide range of ministry areas. Through this program interns are able to test the call of God on their lives and learn all about what it takes “to make church happen” from a behind the scenes perspective. Interns are mentored by leaders and pastors in the church as they learn to fulfill their place in the Body of Christ.
The Internship Program commenced on 5th February 2008.
Here are some thoughts from one of our current Interns, Cherie Barlow: “Blue Mountains City Church Internship Program has changed my life, and I’m only half way through it! Having the opportunity to work around the church and receive input from some of the key leaders has been great! I absolutely love it! I’m a shy person at heart, but being in an encouraging and loving environment where people actually care about you and what you have to say has really enabled me to step out.
The Internship has challenged me and stretched me, and that’s not always easy, but I can see God working in and through everything I do. It is an amazing opportunity and I would recommend it to anyone! God is amazing and when we devote ourselves to serving Him and studying His word, He will always be there for us to lean on through the good times and the struggles that we have. That’s what my God has done for me this year, and He will do the same for you. I can’t wait to see what He does in your life!”
If you are wanting to test the call of God on your life and to learn more about where you fit in the Body of Christ, why not consider the Internship Program for 2009!
